Below are answers to some of the most common questions we get asked. For any additional information, get in touch with our team.

Absolutely! We will focus on coaching you in developing skills that you can then apply to support your child in a number of environments. We generally apply a short amount of time at the end of each therapy session to provide feedback from that session.

This question is not so easy to answer and there are a number of variables including: the type of therapy needed, the severity of your child, your goals, your motivations, homework tasks, frequency of sessions etc.

It is recommended to speak with your therapist if this is one of your concerns

A confirmation text message will be sent to you outlining what you will need to bring for your first appointment.
During the Covid-19 pandemic it is recommended only one caregiver attend the session with their child (one adult and the child to receive our service). Even then we are asking that, if possible, parents remain in their vehicles. If you are unable to have your other child/children looked after your therapist can come and collect the child for therapy from your vehicle.
Your therapist will inform you at your sessions on this one. There are usually some types of activities to be conducted in the home to ensure consistency and repetition. This will all depend on your child’s diagnosis and the frequency of the therapy.
We have two locations – 36 Stanley Street, Blacktown and 55 Kildare Road, Blacktown. We can offer Telehealth sessions if you prefer not to come into our offices. We do attend some school clinics (subject to availability and demand) but this service is unlikely to be available until 2022 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Please speak to one of our Client Support Coordinators if you require more information.

No, you do not require a referral, however if you are wanting to access a Medicare Rebate for your therapy, please see our the funding page for further information.

We understand how important it is to have a trusting and strong relationship with your therapist. We do attempt to match the right therapist to your child however sometimes that match may not suit you. If you are unsure about your therapist match, please speak to one of our Client Support Coordinators.

We look forward to speaking with you!
